Released three years ago under a source-available license, Dragonfly has cultivated a thriving developer community with over 27,000 GitHub stars, and its Cloud offering—launched last year—has quickly gained adoption by cutting-edge engineering teams who demand speed, scale, and simplicity without compromise.

The Role

We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on VP of Sales to build and lead our go-to-market efforts. You’ll be a foundational member of the leadership team, owning revenue growth and building the sales organization and playbook from scratch. This is a rare opportunity to help shape the future of a breakout infrastructure company at a critical point of acceleration.

What You’ll Do

  • Define and execute Dragonfly’s GTM and sales strategy from first contact to long-term expansion.
  • Build and lead a small but mighty team of AEs and/or SDRs as we scale.
  • Own the full revenue funnel—forecasting, pipeline, quota planning, and performance tracking.
  • Systematize what works: build repeatable playbooks, dashboards, and tooling.
  • Collaborate with marketing and engineering to refine our messaging and positioning.
  • Represent the voice of the customer and influence product roadmap decisions.
  • Report directly to the CEO as part of the company executive team to shape company strategy.

You Might Be a Fit If You...

  • Scaled a sales motion from $0 to $20M+ ARR at a fast-moving B2B startup.
  • Have experience hiring, managing, and mentoring early-stage sales teams.
  • Understand how to sell to mid-market and enterprise companies, ideally with self-serve or usage-based pricing models.
  • Have deep empathy for technical buyers (Infra / DevOps / Platform teams).
  • Bring domain expertise in infrastructure, cloud, developer tools, or open-source models.
  • Were trained in a top-tier sales organization and learned from some of the best in the business.
  • Are excited to roll up your sleeves, build systems that scale, and own outcomes end-to-end.

Nice to Have

  • In-memory systems background.
  • Sold open-source or community-driven products before.
  • Worked closely with technical founders or engineering-heavy teams.
