Read-Heavy Feature Store
Scenario
An online delivery company was running a high-throughput, read-heavy feature store on ElastiCache and was experiencing issues scaling performance and reducing cost. They had 100GB of memory and around 2,500,000 requests per second running in US East (N. Virginia).
Here is how their cost changed when they migrated from ElastiCache to Dragonfly Cloud. Note that due to throughput bottlenecks, they needed 4 ElastiCache cache.r7g.4xlarge instances running Redis, even though the total memory capacity was overprovisioned.
