During the DBaaS DevDay co-located event, we had a panel discussion on The Future of Database as a Service, featuring Oded Poncz (Dragonfly), Jordan Tigani (MotherDuck), Bart Farrell (Bartfarrell.com), Lisa-Marie Namphy (CNCF), and Monica Sarbu (Xata).

This panel was a round-table format with founders from several of the most innovative and widely used open source-based DBaaS startups discussing the future of this growing space. Discussion topics included evolving hardware innovation, business models, new data architectures, the emergence of AI and vector search, and more. The panel was moderated by Bart Farrell, a CNCF Ambassador.
